Suspend a User from the Moderation User Interface

A moderator can suspend users for posting content that violates your community terms and conditions.

Suspend a User from the Moderator UI

1. Click on the user Avatar to see the drop-down menu.
2. Select Moderation from the list.
   The moderator UI will display the Moderation and Reported tabs.
3. Select the applicable tab.
4. Locate the user to suspend.
5. Below the username, select the Suspend this user link.
   a. State a reason in the text field if you want to document why you suspended the user.
6. Click the OK button.

Suspend a User from the User's Profile

1. Navigate to the user's profile by selecting Users from the content navigation tree.
2. To the right of the EDIT button, there is a drop-down menu button indicated by a short horizontal line.
3. Open the drop-down menu and select Suspend this user link.
   a. State a reason in the text field if you want to document why you suspended the user.
4. Click the OK button.
