Site

Here you can view analytics data for actions pertaining to site, content, user, and create unique advanced reports. Ensure you grant the Use API permission for the Analytics plugin to work properly for all applicable site admin users who will use Analytics.

Access from the Admin Console

Location: Analytics Menu > Site

Overview

The Site Analytics page displays information about content types posted, contributing versus passive users, top topics, and top spaces.

Site Summary

You can see the following information in this section:

• Total Posts: This numeric value is the sum of the Questions, Ideas, and Articles posted.
• Questions, Ideas, Articles: The numeric values represent the posts for each of the different content types.
• Total Users: This numeric value is the sum of the contributing and passive users.
• Contributing: This numeric value represents the number of users who contribute content.
• Passive Users: This numeric value represents the number of users who are part of the community but do not contribute any content.

Traffic

You can select a current day, week or month view of the following data:

Total Page Views: This numeric value represents the total number of page views in either the current day, week or month.

Top Topics

You can sort the top topics by most used, most followers, or alphabetical. You can also select a current day, week or month view of the following data:

• Topic Name: The names of the top topics.
• Followers: The number of followers for the top topics.
• Questions, Ideas, Articles: The number of Questions, Ideas, and Articles for each of the top topics.
• Topic Experts: Displays the user profile image of the topic experts.

Top Spaces

You can sort the top spaces by most active, most followers, most contributors, or most content posted and you can decide to Include subspaces with the checkbox. You can also select a current day, week or month view of the following data:

• Space Name: The space names for top spaces.
• Followers: The number of users following each of the top spaces.
• Users Active: The number of active users for each of the top spaces.
• Users Contributing: The number of contributors to the top spaces.
• Questions, Ideas, Articles: The number of Questions, Ideas, and Articles posted for each content.
