Overview

In AnswerHub communities, awards and a variety of actions in the community can affect a user's reputation level. Common actions affecting a user's reputation include up-voting questions, answering questions, accepting answers, and down-voting content.

You can view the "Default Reputation Levels" to get a quick overview of how much reputation a user will receive for specific node actions.

A user must gain a certain number of points to achieve a specific reputation level in the community. For example, by default, a user receives 15 points by getting an up-vote or by his or her answer being accepted. That same user loses 15 points when down-voted.
